Since I have Nintendo switch, I play Mario Kart with my boyfriend very often.
Nintendo switch was Christmas present for each other.
I have experienced to play Mario Kart with Super Nintendo because I had it when I was a kid.
Mario Kart 8 in Nintendo switch is totally updated.
It still keeps original atmosphere of Mario Kart of Super Nintendo but it has evolved.
For example, background music, animations and racing courses etc.
Nintendo Co., Ltd. is Japanese company which develop, manufacture and sell computer game.
Super Nintendo is developed in 1990.
Nintendo switch is developed in 2017.
Nintendo has been entertaining for a long time.
When I was playing Mario Kart 8, I noticed that some characters names are different than Japanese version.
Toad = Kinopio
Bowser = Kuppa
Koopa Troopa = Nokonoko
Boo = Teresa
Goomba = Kuribo
There are more characters but I don’t even know well about sub-characters names in Japanese.
I know that the guy who has starting light in Mario Kart is called Jugemu in Japanese.
Toad is the one of cute characters in Mario Kart and one of my favorite character because he looks adorable.
Many people especially for girls in Japan like Toad (Kinopio).
Kinoko in Japanese means mushroom. So I think the name “Kinopio” came from Kinoko.
I think Kinopio with red head is known the most but there are many kinds of Kinopio,
for example, Kinopiko (girl), Kinojii (grandpa), with green, yellow and green head.
In Mario Kart 8 by Nintendo Switch, you can enjoy to use Kinopio as a driver
or to see decorations of Kinopio in some racing courses.
There are Toad (Kinopio) goods as well as Mario that you can buy in Universal studio Japan in Osaka, Japan.
Also, there is a Toad (Kinopio) cafe restaurant.
The Toad (Kinopio) cafe restaurant concept is to serve by chef Toad (Kinopio).
From March 2021, Universal studio Japan in Osaka, Japan started Nintendo Super Mario attraction which is called Super Nintendo world.
When I visit Japan next time, I would like to Super Nintendo World in Universal studio Japan in Osaka, Japan.
