Preparation for work permission Visa in Berlin, Germany

As an employee, you can apply to get a working permission visa in Germany.
The German working permission visa period is likely three years but it depends on the work contract.
First, you need to make an appointment at the immigration office in Berlin.
BUT,
Since March 2020, it is not working to book there as normal due to Covid-19 situation.
I am going to write about how I apply (extend) visa in Germany in February 2021.
I couldn’t find any available days to make an appointment online so I sent an inquiry here and I was told that I should send all necessary documents via email.

I prepared the documents for applying work permission visa in Berlin, Germany as below.
1.Work contract
You need the contract between you and your boss.
2.Stellenbeachreibung
A company you are hired has to fill this document out.
3.antrag-auf-erlaubnis-einer-beschaeftigung
You have to fill this document out by yourself.
4.Rent contact
You need house or apartment contract you are living and applied as the address in Berlin, Germany.
5.Passport (copy)
6.Photo size 35mm*45mm
I knew that my passport would expire in two years and I was guessing that I could get a work permission visa more than three years.
Therefore I first extended my passport because your passport expiration date is the maximum date of visa you would get !
Better check your passport expiration date before applying for a visa in Berlin Germany.
Two or three days after I sent six documents I prepared to the immigration office by email in Berlin, Germany.
And then, the lady who is working at immigration office in Berlin, Germany replied that I should submit the documents below.
-Arbeitsvertrag
I already attached a work contract by email but sure I sent it again.
-Krankenversicherung
It is health insurance company you are in.
Just in case, I sent it of last two years.
-Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung
Some more documents your boss should fill out.
I prepared those documents the lady required and sent them by email.
Next day, she sent me a message saying she needs my income document for the last two years.
I assume that’s because I was working as a freelancer for the last two years in Berlin, Germany.
So I sent a tax declaration document in 2019 and income information from my German bank account in 2020.
I thought she could check how much I paid tax or those kinds of stuff by herself.
Anyway, after I sent them, I got an appointment at Berlin immigration office a week later.
By the way, 2.Stellenbeachreibung and 3.antrag-auf-erlaubnis-einer-beschaeftigung might be no longer needed.
Because it says nothing about them here but “Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung”.
